Why did I create this project?
I created this game for the "GameDev.tv Game Jam 2025" that had the theme, "Tiny World"; The jam ran for 10 days. I was initially unsure about what type of game I was going to create as the theme didn't give me any ideas that I was excited about. The concept that I eventually settled on was a bowling game where a wizard has stolen your planet and he will shrink it for every pin you miss. The goal of the game is to still have a planet by the end of the tenth frame. The biggest challenge with this project was implementing all the bowling rules. I managed to do this, however, this did involve tracking a lot of variables to ensure that the rules were implemented correctly. I wanted this game to be a 3D game because I don't have as much experience with 3D. I wanted to use this jam as a learning opportunity to learn more about 3D physics and 3D development in general. I also had the aim to learn more about 3D modelling as I had only done this once prior to this jam. I feel like I learned a lot from this jam, and I am happy with the outcome of this game.
